Brief Introduction of HSS Roll 

The HSS roll material contains high contents of alloying elements such as Vanadium (V), Chromium (Cr), Tungsten (W), Molybdenum (Mo), and Niobium (Nb). The dominant carbide type is MC, which features high hardness and excellent wear resistance.
HSS rolls exhibit good thermal stability. During hot rolling, the roll surface maintains high hardness and excellent wear resistance.
HSS rolls offer good hardenability, with minimal hardness drop from the surface to the scrap diameter, ensuring consistent wear resistance throughout the working layer.
